Aït Benhaddou

Aït Benhaddou, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, one of Morocco’s most iconic treasures. This centuries-old ksar, built from striking red clay, stands out against the arid landscapes of southern Morocco. Walking through its narrow alleys and fortified walls feels like stepping back in time into traditional Berber life and desert culture. Its also famous for its role in Hollywood films and TV shows, from Lawrence de Arabia a Juego de Tronos.

Visitors can hike up to the granary at the top of the hill for panoramic views, wander through artisan stalls, and simply soak in the atmosphere of a ksar that has stood for centuries.
